The CS8406-CSZ is a digital Audio Special Purpose, designed to include digital audio transmiter / receiver and audio codec solutions. It offers an a high performance, low power, low-cost solution for digital audio applications on PC/Notebook/HMI platforms. The CS8406-CSZ also integrates low-burn analog technology and high-efficiency power supply design to save power and reduce system cost.

The CS8406-CSZ includes a codec that supports sampling rates up to 192kHz and a transmitter capable of transmitting PCM data over the I2S interface with sample rate of up to 384kHz.
