A CTX1-4-R (Cross Towers Transceiver) is a type of wireless RF communication system which utilizes a modular array of vertically stacked symmetrical dipole base stations for both transmitting and receiving signals. The system consists of a pyramid-like tower with two separate bases spaced at either side. Each base is connected to a separate antenna connected to the base station via a feeder cable. The transmission and reception of signals take place between the two tower bases, with each antenna operating in separate frequency bands. This system allows for multiple communication channels to be established simultaneously.

Signal Transformers

The CTX1-4-R is a type of signal transformer, which is used to increase the signal strength and reduce noise levels when transmitting and receiving signals. The transformer is responsible for changing the electrical signal received from the antenna to the desired electrical format needed to process the signal. The transformer works by first converting the electrical signal received from the antenna to a higher frequency. This high frequency is then transformed into a lower frequency, which is more suitable for processing. This process reduces the signal to noise ratio, which is necessary for effective communication. Once the signal has been transformed, it is then sent to the receiver which can then process the signal.

Working Principle

The CTX1-4-R operates by transmitting signals from one tower base to the other tower base, via a direct transmission line called a coaxial cable. The system uses two separate dipole antennas for each base that are connected to a direct feed cable. The direct feed cable is then connected to the signal transformer which is responsible for changing the electrical signal received from the antenna to the desired electrical format. The signal transformer is also responsible for increasing the signal strength and reducing the noise levels. Once the signal is processed by the transformer, it is sent over the coaxial line to the receiver receiving base. The receiver then processes the signal and the data is transmitted via an optical fiber or a conventional coaxial cable to the user’s desired destination. This system is suitable for communication networks that require a large area for transmission, as well as for mobile and temporary applications.
