Arrays

CTX5-1-R is an array of signal transformers, which consists of 5 Y-shaped passive transformers wired in series. Each of them inputs a signal voltage and provides an output voltage, which is the sum of the voltage of each transformer. The CTX5-1-R is a power distribution device designed for applications up to 600VAC, providing an output voltage in the range of 0-600VAC. It has a rated current of 10 Amps and a maximum continuous power of 6A.

Signal Transformers

CTX5-1-R signal transformers consist of a secondary winding in the form of a single turn coil. This coil is electromagnetically coupled to the primary winding, which has five 40 mm diameter Y-shaped winding and a rated power up to 600VAC and 10 Amps. The primary winding has four different sections, each for the four different phases of the output voltage. The interaction between the primary and secondary windings creates an alternating current (AC) electrical field which produces a voltage across the secondary winding.The individual transformers are linked together in series and form a series of signal transformers, called a transformer array. This array is usually formed with two transformers to provide two output phases and then linked together in series with the same number of transformers. The working principle of the CTX5-1-R is based on Faraday\'s law of induction, which states that a voltage is induced in a conductor when it moves through a magnetic field. The secondary winding of the transformer is moved through the field generated by the primary winding. As a result of Faraday’s law, a voltage is induced in the secondary winding and is then propagated to the output voltage terminals.The output voltage of the CTX5-1-R is determined by the magnitude of the voltage induced in the secondary winding by the primary winding. This voltage is regulated by controlling the amplitude of the primary winding\'s current. The primary winding\'s current drives the secondary winding\'s magnetic field, which in turn induces a corresponding voltage in the secondary winding of the transformer.The CTX5-1-R provides a stable and reliable output voltage in a wide range of applications. It is especially suitable for use in high-voltage power distribution applications, such as in medical equipment, industrial machinery, and other applications requiring precise voltage regulation. The CTX5-1-R is also used in the telecom industry for powering telecom boxes.
