CX3042NLT is an RF Directional Coupler which is designed to provide reliable and high-performance RF signal and power monitoring. It is also known as a split power coupler, as the ratio between the power coupled off and that passing through the device, can be adjusted. This allows a certain degree of power to be divided off for monitoring, whilst the rest of the RF power is available through the device. This RF Directional Coupler is used for many applications such as when a transmitter is connected to an antenna, the CX3042NLT can be used to split some of the power away from the antenna, and measure it directly. This helps to maintain the optimal settings for transmission power, by providing the operator with a general idea about how much power is being transmitted to the antenna.This RF Directional Coupler is also used for many military and commercial grade applications, as it helps enhance signal sensitivity or reduce signal distortions.
