The CY28317PVXC-2 from Cypress Semiconductor is a clock/timing application specific solution. It is suitable for both fiber and copper twisted-pair interfaces, providing clock and reference signal generation, regional clock distribution, and jitter attenuation for media access control (MAC) and SONET/SDH applications.
The CY28317PVXC-2 is a fully integrateed clock/timing application designed to support digital broadcast television applications. This solution offers a single-chip solution with a high degree of accuracy and scalability while working in both multi-frequency applications such as digital cable and digital satellite, as well as single-frequency applications like digital terrestrial TV. PLLs, VCXO and integrated RMS-jitter-attenuator meet the rigorous requirements of digital broadcast television applications.
