The CY29773AXIT is a Wideband, Quad-Output Clock Generator, capable of providing four independent output frequencies selected from within a wide-frequency range of 1MHz to 250MHz. This device is ideal for use in synchronous clocking designs requiring multiple output frequencies. Additionally, this device can be programmed via I2C to allow the end user to choose the output frequencies.

Additionally, its I2C bus enables adjustable reference and two selectable VCO dividers and multiple programmable output dividers. When used in a PLL, the VCO can be programmed to generate output frequencies further outside of the 1MHz to 250MHz range, allowing it to support a wide range of applications.

The CY29773AXIT also offers a wide range of programmable output options. It can generate four square wave output frequencies at up to 250MHz, either independently or as mutually locked. It can also generate 1 – 4 square wave outputs at adjustable duty cycle from 0-99%, high fidelity Clock Recovery Mode (CRM) and Spread Spectrum Clock (SSC) outputs, and manually selectable reference clocks. Additionally, the device provides an adjustable output buffer start-up delay and a power fail pin.

The CY29773AXIT is fabricated using Advanced Lean Bipolar CMOS processes, ensuring reliable operation and high performance. Other features include an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and a maximum package size of only 8mmx8mm, making the CY29773AXIT suitable for a broad range of applications where low size, weight and power consumption are important.
