The CYI9531ZXC is a clock generator that is based on a PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) Frequency Synthesizer. It is used to generate a stable clock signal that is adjustable over a range of frequencies. The clock generator delivers accurate, stable frequency output for a wide range of external crystal frequencies, as well as for a variety of other clock and system clock sources. The VCO oscillator typically operates in the range from 80MHz to 800MHz, and the frequency output from the PLL can range from 1MHz to 100MHz.This device makes use of a combination of advanced analog and digital design technologies, providing clock performance that is superior to that of many other clock generators. Its clock jitter performance is extremely low, with a typical jitter of 1 picosecond or lower. This low-jitter clock signal makes the CYI9531ZXC suitable for use in high performance networking, storage, and communication systems.The CYI9531ZXC also offers several additional features that make this device very attractive for a wide range of applications. Among these features are an adjustable power-down mode, a low-noise generator output, and an adjustable programmable spread spectrum clock output.
