Operating Principle
The D2F-5L3 works according to a differential operating principle. The differential operating principle involves using a separate, distinct mover and separate, distinct contacts which permits omni-directional switching. The movement of the mover causes a relative movement of the contacts so that they close when the mover reaches a certain destination. As each move of the mover causes relative movement of the contacts, the functions of the contacts remain the same, even if the movable member is changed in direction. Therefore, the D2F-5L3 can be used for controlling both in either directions.
