The D2S-10D Limit Switches are miniature snap action switches used for detecting the presence and/or absence of a product or motion. This is primarily achieved through the use of a roller lever and actuating lever arm, which work together to generate a snap mechanism designed to provide a durable and reliable response. When the product or motion is detected, the roller lever releases the actuating lever arm, allowing the spring switch connection to be established. The D2S-10D switches are primarily used in factory automation, security and building automation applications. In fact, they are found in almost any industrial application where an on/off response is required. This includes assembly line and robotic process control, overhead door monitoring, oil pressure monitoring and emergency lighting. In terms of working principle, the D2S-10D switches work on the principle of a lever arm connected to the product or motion. The lever arm generally contains a roller lever, which is actuated by the product or motion. The lever arm is also connected to a switch, which is in turn connected to a spring. When the product or motion is detected by the roller lever, it releases the actuating lever arm, causing the switch to be disengaged and the spring to be compressed. This spring is responsible for storing energy, which is released when the switch is re-engaged. This energy is then used to move the product or motion back to its original position. The switches are designed to be very durable and reliable with a minimum of mechanical stress on the system. The roller lever and actuating lever arm allow for precise and repeatable results. The range of motion is determined by the design and size of the lever arm, which is adjustable to allow for fine tuning of the switches response. Additionally, the switches require minimal maintenance and are designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions. The D2S-10D Limit Switches are designed to be used in a wide variety of applications and are available in a number of different types and sizes. They are simple to install and operate and provide a reliable and accurate response for a variety of different applications. The switches are also versatile and can be used in a variety of applications due to their adjustable range of motion and precise triggering. The specific data is subject to PDF, and the above content is for reference
