The working principle of the D4N-4E22 switch is quite straightforward. When an operated object, such as a plunger, comes in contact with the switch, the actuator is actuated and a contact closes, thereby closing the electrical circuit. The circuit remains closed as long as the operated object is in contact with the switch. When the operated object is pulled away from the switch, the contact opens, thereby breaking the electrical circuit. The contact block is designed in such a way that the opening and closing of the contact is repeatable and reliable.
