Snap action limit switches are designed to open or close with precise repeatable action in response to movement in the actuating arm or plunger. The working principle of D4N-8A22 snap action limit switch is that when the actuator is pushed to the certain direction, the contact part will close the electric circuit, make the power connection, then the switch will on. And when the actuator is pushed to another direction, the contact part will be opened and the circuit is break, then the switch will off. The springs inside the limit switch will provide the force that make the limit switch return to the original position when the actuator is released. Due to the design of springs, the actuator will be stopped when the set point is reached, so the repeated operation is available and controller the switch on or off.
