SPNO is a mechanical switching system that allows power to flow when a certain condition is met. SPNC is a mechanical system that prevents power to flow until a certain condition is also met. These two contact types enable the switch to utilize common base mounting, direct mounting or insulated base mounting with a built-in diode.
Working Principle
The mechanism behind the D4N-9B25’s performance is based on the snap action limit switches. This snap action design isolates two wafers (an outside wafer and an actuator) within a switch body. When the actuator is rotated or released, the two wafers make contact with each other for a brief period of time before being reset to their original state. This allows the D4N-9B25 series to quickly respond to changes in external conditions, such as temperature and humidity.The internal features of the D4N-9B25 ensure reliable performance with each switch rated for a million mechanical cycles and electrical life expectancy of 50 thousand electrical operations.
