The D5G-T is composed of PN junction diode and resistor. The diode unit works as a rectifier. The resistor restrains the diode current to keep the switch triggered properly. The device can function effectively under the high-frequency resonant state and is used by applying high frequency to the device\'s anode and cathode. The current will be allowed to flow in only one direction, while the opposite direction of flow is blocked. For example, when an AC power source is connected to the circuit, if the anode is negative, the electron-hole pairs created by the p-type and n-type semi-conductor materials cross the junction and keep flowing, resulting in high-current resistance at the junction. On the other hand, when the anode is positive, the electron-hole pairs go back to their original states, blocking the current from passing through.
