Its primary application field is industrial automation and data acquisition systems requiring tight accuracy and high speed.The DAC7512E/250G4 is a 12-bit high speed, bidirectional D/A converter with voltage output capability. It is available in three packages, the PDIP (plastic dual-in-line package), LQFP (low-profile quad-flat package) and PDSO (plastic small-outline package). It takes input signals in either the 10V1, 20V1, or 30V1 standard formats, and is enabled with the onboard amplifier which provides an output range of 0 to 5V.The DAC7512E/250G4 offers a wide working temperature range to ensure that the converter still performs its best in extreme conditions. The power supply limits are also quite generous, as the operation of the DAC7512E/250G4 requires only 5V to 6V of DC power. Moreover, the DAC7512E/250G4 boasts a unique operating principle known as on-chip tracking reference. This system utilizes the on-chip DAC reference, allowing the device to track the DAC reference voltage over temperature without the need for external trimming.Built for excellent accuracy, the DAC7512E/250G4 has an integral linearity of ±4 lsB rate for the entire temperature range.
