D-Sub Connectors
What are D-Sub Connectors?
D-Sub Connectors are one of the most common electrical connectors used in computer and electronic equipment. D-Sub Connectors feature two flat metal pieces called contact pins that fit into a D-shaped metal or plastic shell. The two flat pins provide an electrical connection between two pieces of equipment, such as a computer and a printer.
D-Sub connectors come in a variety of sizes and configurations. The most common sizes are DB25 and DE9, but there are many other sizes available as well. Common sizes include DB37 and DB50. There are also several variations in the way the pins are arranged and in the shell configuration.
DAM15S500MN Application Field and Working Principle
The DAM15S500MN is a type of D-Sub Connector, which is designed for use in data and analog applications. It has a 15-pin arrangement, and is used to connect a device, such as a modem, to a computer. The DAM15S500MN is designed for use in applications that require shielded connections, as the connector is enclosed in a metal shell that provides a high level of shielding.
The DAM15S500MN features two rows of 15 pins, arranged on a 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) pitch. The pins are arranged in two rows of seven on one side, and eight on the other side. The shell of the connector is equipped with plastic protrusions, which fit into the locking slots in the device that is being connected.
The DAM15S500MN is designed to provide a secure connection between two devices, and to provide a high level of shielding from interference. In order to ensure that the connection is secure, the connectors are designed to be resistant to vibration, and to provide a secure connection even when used in harsh environments. The connectors are also designed to be able to withstand temperatures up to 65°C.
