DBE0125V2PBC is a high quality single output Isolated DC-DC converter. It can provide up to 25 watts of output power with a wide input voltage range of 9.0 to 36.0 volts DC. It is ideal for embedded systems, telecom, IT equipment, instrumentation, Industrial machines, telecom and automotive application where step up or step down conversion is required. This type of DC-DC converter can be used for many types of applications because its small size and high-efficiency.Working Principle:
DBE0125V2PBC DC-DC converter works by converting a low input voltage into a high output voltage. It first performs a step-down conversion from the input voltage to an intermediate level by utilizing a transformer and an inductor. Then it will step-up the intermediate voltage to get the required output voltage.This conversion process will start when the input voltage is applied by switching an electronic switch. This switch will then create a voltage droop across the inductor, as it is energized from the input voltage, which will induce a current in the secondary winding of the transformer. This current is rectified and then used to supply the output devices with the required voltage.When the switch is set to open, the energy stored in the inductor will be transferred to the load. This process is repeated several times to obtain the required output voltage.
