The DC014A evaluation board from Richtek Technology Corporation is an off-line, isolated low-cost DC/DC power supply converter suitable for a variety of applications. It features a buck topology, a wide input voltage range, high accuracy current and voltage measurement, and the ability to regulate output voltage and current. Onboard protection includes over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and thermal protection. The DC014A evaluation board is an ideal choice for adding isolated DC/DC power to any project.

The DC014A evaluation board’s input voltage range of 4 to 30VDC makes it suitable for use with a wide variety of power sources. It also supports a wide output voltage range, from 3.3V to 12V, allowing it to be used with a wide array of components. The board features a high efficiency, 4-pin, wide-body TOPSwitch-GX family of switching power supplies. The switching supply is designed for a wide range of di/dt, a common problem with other buck topology converters.
