DC1110A is a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) evaluation module from the series of product solutions offered by Texas Instruments. It is an 8-channel 8-bit analog output. The evaluation module of DC1110A is convenient for testing, debugging and evaluation of the DAC and serves as a base for creating design prototype applications by providing additional I/O and working circuits for the purpose of custom enhancements. The integrated circuit of the DC1110A consists of two main components: a multiport DAC and a status control. The multiport DAC contains 64 configurations of voltage levels (8 channels x 8 bits). Each channel of the DAC uses a R-2R ladder configuration to provide ultimate resolution. Each channel can source between 0V to 5V, depending on the value the user has programmed.
