DC1121A is a power evaluation board designed for easy evaluation of numerous switcher-mode power supply. Provided with a 1.2A output current capability at 12V output, this board can be used by engineers to assess and develop products with an isolated off-line AC/DC power supply.

DC1121A core application focuses on designing and assessing your power supply module. This power evaluation board is also available for applications such as AC/DC switching power convertes, DC to DC converter, DC/AC inverters, AC/DC sensors, DC/AC power switching modules and DC/DC converters. By utilizing the DC1121A board, the engineer’s task of developing a product with the mentioned modules to a smaller form factors becomes much easier.

The working principle of this DC1121A is that it uses an isolated off-line AC/DC power supply module to provide power to the PCB and then uses the DC/DC converter to regulate the output. This safety comes from the isolation created by the power supply module; the output is connected directly to the ground and away from the user. The input of the power supply module is connected to the main power supply which is usually 110V AC.

The DC1121A evaluation board is supplied with a full range of components for easy set-up and operation. All the components are onboard the PCB and can provide power up to 1.2A while the output is regulated to 12V. The board is also supplied with a set of LEDs which can be used to monitor power supply operations and status.

In addition, the evaluation board also features two fan connectors for cooling the entire board while providing a consistent power supply.
