The DC1347B evaluation and demonstration boards and kits are unique in their design, features, and applications. This evaluation device is designed to enable designers to quickly evaluate the capabilities of the TI TMS320C6748F Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The DC1347B offers two general-purpose input/output (GPIO) expansion boards, one general-purpose DSP expansion board, and one custom expansion board. The GPIO expansion board provides 24 individual I/O ports, while the custom expansion board provides the capabilities for controlling analog and digital I/O without tying up any of the DSP Digital I/O pins. The DC1347B is a great tool for developing, testing, and debugging the C6748 processor application. The purpose of the DC1347B evaluation and demonstration board is to provide an easy-to-use platform for evaluating, testing, and debugging the TMS320C6748F DSP. The combination of the GPIO and custom expansion boards allows for custom design of the C6748 application and helps to optimize the development process significantly. The flexibility of the GPIO and custom expansion boards allows the user to configure the board in any way desired. The DC1347B Evaluation and Demonstration Board uses the LM386 Audio Codec for audio input and output. This allows the user to quickly and easily test the audio capabilities of the C6748 DSP. The board also comes with four bankable memory expansion slots. These memory expansion slots allow for extended memory configurations to be tested with the C6748. The DC1347B can be powered with either 5V or 3.3V power sources. There are two power options on the board: an active 3.3V supply and an active 5V supply.The user can select either option depending on the applications. The board is also integrated with two dual-channel, general-purpose toggle switches for enabling/disabling I/O. The user can use these switches to control the board\'s I/O. The board also comes with eight onboard LEDs to provide visual indication of I/O control and status. The evaluation and demonstration board also provides a dedicated USB 2.0 JTAG interface for direct connection with a PC.
