Working principle
The DC2303A-C Evaluation Board works through the conversion of digital signals to analog signals. This is done by converting the digital bit-stream to an analog signal through a conversion process called pulse-width modulation (PWM). The PWM conversion process involves using a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), which is an integrated circuit (IC) that converts zeros and ones into analog signals. To convert bits into digital signals, the DAC must receive digital input from the bits. Then, the DAC creates voltage levels proportional to the magnitude of the digital input signal.
The DC2303A-C Evaluation Board employs Variable Input Range (VIR) technology to vary the levels of the analog output corresponding to changes in the incoming digital input signal. This allows for a much broader range of output signals with higher resolution than would be possible through conventional DACs. Furthermore, the DC2303A-C Evaluation Board also incorporates an Open Loop Transmit-Receive (OTRT) technology to ensure robust performance and further reduce power consumption.
In short, the DC2303A-C Evaluation Board is designed to facilitate the testing and evaluation of high-end DACs, and can provide a number of useful features to facilitate the evaluation process. These features, combined with its small form factor and versatile input options, make the DC2303A-C Evaluation Board an ideal choice for applications requiring a high-performance DAC.
