DC2407A

DC2407A is an evaluation board designed to evaluate the performance of NCP1529 and NCP1529A single-output synchronous Buck regulators from ON Semiconductor. This board operates from a 6.0V to 35V semi-regulated DC power source and supplies a 3.3V or 5V output.

The NCP1529A is a high-efficiency synchronous Buck regulator with low-output voltage sensing. The device has an integrated high-side MOSFET with the lowest RDS(on) available on the market (<30mΩ) for improved transient performance. Additionally, it features current limit protection, Hiccup Overcurrent Protectiion (HOP), and cycle-by-cycle current limit.

The DC2407A evaluation board is designed to fit a broad range of applications such as notebook PCs, 4K TVs and networking applications. The complete board is equipped with the latest generation of NCP1529/NCP1529A-based Buck regulators.

The working principle of the DC2407A is straightforward. First, the input voltage is stepped down to a fixed output voltage via a Buck converter.
