DC389A-A is an evaluation board designed by Intersil Corporation, an American semiconductor manufacturer. It is used to facilitate evaluation of Intersil\'s ISL8260M, ISL8261M, ISL8262M, ISL8263M, ISL8264M, ISL8265M AC/DC (off-line) and DC/DC Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS). The board is rated for up to 15W of power and is an excellent platform for the development and evaluation of the SMPS.

The ISL8260M and ISL8261M are single channel products and are rated for up to 6W of power. The ISL8262M is a dual channel solution capable of up to 12W of power. The ISL8263M, ISL8264M and ISL8265M are three channel solutions capable of up to 15W of power each.

The DC389A-A evaluation board features a full range of input voltage options from 85VAC to 265VAC, as well as adjustable output voltages ranging from 5V to 24V. It also features an adjustable frequency oscillator that allows the user to select the desired switching frequency from 100kHz to 500kHz. In addition, the board is equipped with all the necessary components to facilitate proper circuit implementation.
