The DC432A Evaluation Board is an off-line DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS that provides a powerful way to quickly evaluate the performance of the DC432A controller. It features a total of four sets of comprehensive regulating parameters that can be adjusted for the primary, secondary and third winding outputs with a 24-step or continuous range of output voltages.

The DC432A Evaluation Board is suitable for a wide variety of applications such as industrial, automotive, telecom and instrumentation, medical, communications, and consumer electronics. The board’s features include a wide range of operating input voltage, wide temperature range operation (-20°C to +70°C ambient temperature) with input voltage monitor, and a built-in circuit breaker protection device, among others.

The DC432A’s working principle is based on the widely used switching regulator topology. It employs an active switching regulator and a linear regulator. The switching regulator provides regulated output over a wide range of input voltage, while the linear regulator provides accurate and stable output voltage.
