DFR0105 Application Field and Working Principle
The DFR0105 is an adjustable power supply expansion board designed for DFRduino Series. It allows users to obtain output voltages from 0.7V to 5V and up to 2A. This expansion board supports flexible voltage output configurations, which offer users much convenience when using electronic control applications.The DFR0105 expansion board can be divided into two parts: power supply part and control part. The power supply part consists of four components which include voltage stabilizing transformer, filter circuit, rectification circuit and voltage stabilizing chip. The transformer steps down the alternating current voltage from the main line and the filter circuit smoothes out the ripple caused by alternating current. The rectification circuit transposes AC voltage into regulated DC voltage and then sends it to the voltage stabilizing chip. The voltage stabilizing chip regulates the output voltage of the expansion board.The control part consists of five components which include potentiometer, MCU processor, hall effect sensor, display control circuit and panel control circuit.The potentiometer is connected directly by the pin header of the MCU to adjust the output voltage. The MCU processor is responsible for receiving and executing the command issued by the user, and then adjust the output voltage by controlling the voltage regulating chip. The hall effect sensor is used to detect the current consumed by the load and protect the load from over current. The display control circuit is used to display the output voltage in real time. The panel control circuit is used to send the commands from the user to the MCU processor through the switch.In summary, the DFR0105 is an adjustable power supply expansion board that provides users with adjustable output voltage from 0.7V to 5V.
