Working Principle

The DJ06S4815A is a step-down type DC-DC converter consisting of five major blocks: an input power stage, a transistor switch, an output filter, an error amplifier, and a control logic. The device uses a voltage Mode Control (VMC) technique along with an external resistor and capacitor to maintain the output voltage at a constant level.

The input power stage is responsible for converting the input voltage into a current source. The transistor switch is responsible for the regulation of the output voltage.
