The DKBLE112 is a Bluetooth low energy module evaluation and development kit that covers an extensive range of features including frequency hopping, hybrid modulation, AT command support, and various communication options. It is important to note that this product is not only a development kit but also a comprehensive, integrated wireless solution that can be used to evaluate and develop applications in areas such as the internet of things, home automation, industrial automation, robotic systems, and no-signal/long-distance communication.

The DKBLE112 consists of two parts, a DKBLE112 module and a PC application. The module consists of the base device, a transceiver, a host processor, two antennae, and two software devices. Connected to the host processor is an RS232 serial interface, a UART 100-pin JTAG port, and a 50-pin expansion port. The transceiver consists of a power amplifier, PLL oscillator, reference crystal, analog front-end, baseband processor, and a 32-bit ARM cortex processor. The two software devices are the BLE112 development board and the BLE EVAL app.

The DKBLE112 module’s frequency hopping protocols ensure that data can travel from one device to another without interference or hindrance. Its hybrid modulation enables it to adapt its modulation and coding scheme (MCS) according to the signal strength as well as the rate of data transmitted. The AT command support allows for easy setup of the module as well as commanding and controlling it remotely. The module can also communicate over various communication channels such as Wi-Fi, 802.11g/b/n, Bluetooth 4, Bluetooth 2.1, and more.
