The DLR2416-20 is a display module which falls into the category of LED Dot Matrix and Cluster. It is a four-digit, common-anode display module with a 24x16mm viewing area. The display module is composed of 25-segments, or 24x16, gold-plated LEDs arranged into 4 horizontal rows. It comes with an embedded power supply, allowing it to be used at voltages as low as 2.8 V and with currents up to 25 mA. The module is designed for easy mounting onto a PCB, with a structure resembling a standard SOIC package. The main application of the DLR2416-20 is to display numerical or numerical/alphanumeric data in various fields, such as instruments, household appliances, audio systems and digital metering equipment, etc. It is also used to display debugging information in the debugging and testing phase of electronics, as well as for low-level display tasks in industrial control systems, digital recorders, and other microprocessor-based products.
