Working Principle
The DNT90MC Module is a 900MHz transceiver which utilizes Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology to generate stable frequencies. This allows the device to work with a variety of radios solutions in the 0.9 to 1 GHz band. It utilizes a high performance integrated circuit (IC) which contains a low power consumption circuitry for high efficiency and a high stability of the oscillator. The IC supports both frequency and amplitude control. The module’s output power can be programmably adjusted from –7 to +17 dBm, with an accuracy of ±0.4 dB for an input power range from 0 to 14 dBm. The module also contains a 900 MHz low-noise amplifier (LNA) that is based on a complementary GaAs transistors, and a self-contained AGC circuit is also incorporated. Furthermore, the module contains a comprehensive temperature compensation, high-performance VCO/PLL and low-frequency reference oscillator, which enable the device to operate reliably against temperature changes and frequency drifts.
