The DPD120030-P13/RN is a two-stage converter with an AC input voltage range of 90- 120VAC and 47- 63Hz. It accepts a wide range of input voltages and delivers output power up to 30 Watts. The input to the device is rectified and voltage is converted to DC using the primary windings of the transformer. The output stage consists of an active PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) controller, a simple filter inductor and energy storage capacitors. The controller regulates the output voltage and performs over-voltage protection. The filter inductor is used to reduce the output ripple and the output capacitors are used to store and supply energy to the output when the current demand increases.Conclusion
