DRL10-12-1 application field and working principle

Working Principle

DRL10-12-1 converter works on the principle of switching power supply which consists of power semiconductor switches, such as IGBT, MOS and thyristors. This converter utilizes energized circuit and carries out voltage conversion by controlling, switching and transforming through the adjustable capacitance, inductance and resistor. The voltage is converted from AC to DC through a rectifier and a regulator.

The rectifier rectifies AC input to DC and then passes it to the filter capacitor. The clean DC is outputted to the regulator which is producing from the converter\'s own controlled DC signal. After the signal inputted into the error amplifier, the resultant voltage is comparable with the DC reference voltage. The switch mode output of the regulator is initiated. The pulse width of the output voltage can be adjusted through transient and response control. Then, the steady regulated DC is sent to the output.
