Applications
The DS1091LUA-190/V+ is designed for low phase noise clock applications such as test and measurement, avionics and space, medical, imaging, analytic products and communication systems.
Working Principle
The DS1091LUA-190/V+ uses a fractional-N synthesizer or a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) PLL to output clocks at different frequencies. Fractional-N PLLs are capable of very high frequency accuracy and low jitter operation. The DS1091LUA-190/V+ can be used to generate low phase noise clock for applications that require jitter and frequency skew performance. The PLL has a selectable reference clock frequency and a wide output frequency range. The device contains an integrated oscillator and the output clock is adjustable with the on-board clock adjust control. The user can adjust the duty cycle to optimize the clock signal\'s output rise and fall times. Additionally, the device can spread spectrum operation.
