The DS1884AT+ series is an 8-bit, serial-bus, dual-channel analog multiplexer/switch family designed for industrial and commercial applications. It features two ex- ternal switching channels, each channel with eight available states. The DS1884AT+ enables applications such as signal routing, signal conditioning, signal acquisition, and signal gating. Furthermore, it can be used as a multiplexer, a demultiplexer, and a data selector.

The DS1884AT+ family provides several options for inter-facing with microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors and other digital I/O devices. All members of the family support a state/status register for fast detection of the switch status and an interrupt signal for notifying an external processor upon change of state. This makes the DS1884AT+ an ideal component for industrial and consumer applications.
