Moreover, the tristate enable function of DS32KHZN/DIP can be used to drive multiple oscillators.The main working principle behind this oscillator involves a Colpitts oscillator circuit. This consists of two LC tuned circuits, which are connected in a negative feedback loop. The input voltage causes an alternating current, the frequency of which is determined by the components of the LC tuned circuits. The oscillations generated by the voltage across the components in the LC circuits will be at the resonant frequency determined by the inductors and capacitors.
