Introduction
DS3487N/NOPB is an IC with driver and recieviser capabilities in one package, specifically designed for Ethernet networks. The interface includes transmit and receive circuits, capable of meeting Ethernet communication standards including IEEE 802.3 and 100Base-T. It has excellent performance, high capacitive load, superb noise immunity and ESD protection. This integrated interface can reduce pin count and overall complexity, so it is especially suitable for applications where space and cost are limited.
Application Field
The DS3487N/NOPB offers an excellent solution for Ethernet and Fiber Edge Networks, providing an effective solution for communication systems with high-speed data rates and low latency requirements. In these systems, the chip can support high-speed data rates up to 1000Base-T, as well as support for various Ethernet cables, such as TP, FX, and STP.In addition, due to its excellent performance, the chip is also suitable for making optical fiber transceivers, fiber switches, fiber modems, and fiber converters, due to its ability to support up to 200 Mbps transmission rate. Working principle
The DS3487N/NOPB device consists of a driver, a receiver, and a transceiver.
