DS90UB964-Q1EVM is a compact, low-cost evaluation module (EVM) designed to assist Texas Instruments customers to evaluate the complete DS90UB964-Q1 deserializer. DS90UB964-Q1EVM also serves as a platform to test and debug the customer\'s system design. The EVM contains the 1-Channel deserializer DS90UB964-Q1 with associated components for a balanced input video signal, and synchronization clock signals. It has a connector for easy connection to the source of these signals. It has an interface to a 2 lane MIPI CSI-2 transmitter to an imaging source.

DS90UB964 is a single-channel MIPI CSI-2 deserializer. It provides an interface between a Camera Serial Interface (CSI-2) transmitting device and an embedded parallel output. This device supports up to 2.5 Gbps per data lane operating rate. It can accept a 4-channel differential input data stream with pixels and separate phase-aligned clock signals. The device also supports synchronization of received frames, testing of the received transmission, and output of the parallel frame data.

The DS90UB964-Q1EVM supports standard MIPI input modes including: single data lane, single data + clock lane, 2 data lanes, and 2 data + clock lanes.
