Pin Configurable/Selectable Oscillators are a range of oscillators that are designed to fit specific user-defined application parameters. The DSC400-0101Q0096KE1 oscillator is designed for a variety of industrial, commercial and automotive applications, and can be used in a wide range of signal generation, signal processing, signal conditioning, waveform synthesis and related applications.

The DSC400-0101Q0096KE1 oscillator is a low power, small size, variable frequency, higher loaded and stable oscillator with a wide range of tuning range and accuracy. For example, the frequency range of this oscillator can range from 0.1 kHz ~ 300 MHz and its frequency can be adjusted within ±3% of the frequency set point. The accuracy and stability of this oscillator are also very high, ranging from ±50 ppm to ±25 ppm over the temperature range of -40°C ~ +125°C. With its high frequency range, accurate and stable performance, the DSC400-0101Q0096KE1 oscillator is suitable for use in a wide variety of industrial, commercial and automotive applications.

The working principle of the DSC400-0101Q0096KE1 oscillator is based on the positive characteristics of temperature compensation device and temperature compensation circuit. The positive characteristics of temperature compensation device and temperature compensation circuit will limit the oscillator\'s frequency drift to very small range when the ambient temperature changes. The frequency of the oscillator is maintained by tuning external components and adding via thermal pads. The oscillator will then take the frequency from an external clock source, or from an internal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO).

The DSC400-0101Q0096KE1 can also be configured to have different operating modes, such as a frequency range select mode and a voltage-controlled tuning mode. In frequency range select mode, the user can set the oscillator frequency by selecting a specific frequency range on the oscillator. In voltage-controlled tuning mode, the user can modify the oscillator frequency by simply adjusting the voltage level on the tuning pin of the oscillator. Both of these operating modes can be easily programmed to achieve the desired frequency range, accuracy and stability.
