It is a high frequency oscillator designed to provide reliable, accurate and temperature-stable frequency control for a variety of applications. The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 can be programmed via the DSC400 Control Port (DSC400CP) to provide frequencies in the range of 0.375MHz to 7.5MHz.The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 is designed to be used in a wide variety of applications such as clock synthesizing, frequency modulation, data conversion, clock recovery, PLLs, clock sequencing, and more. It features an integrated temperature compensation circuit to maintain accuracy and stability over a wide temperature range and is available in both surface mount and through-hole packages.The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 works by providing an accurate reference frequency that is selectable, programmable or configured by the user via the DSC400 Control Port (DSC400CP) interface. It uses a combination of quartz crystal and digital logic to generate and control the reference frequency. The crystal oscillator produces a clean, high-precision output frequency which is digitally tuned within the digital logic circuitry of the oscillator.The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 utilizes a proprietary crystal tuning technology that not only ensures a high level of accuracy and stability, but also allows for quick tuning or reconfiguration of the reference frequency. The DSC400 Control Port (DSC400CP) allows for the entire frequency range to be programmed without physically changing crystals. This allows for faster production cycles and increased flexibility when used in embedded systems or frequency hopping applications.The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 allows for many frequency ranges and levels of accuracy to be programmed and configured. The frequency can be selected in increments of 250 Hz. The devices have low power consumption and fast start-up times and are available with frequency stability as low as +/-20 ppm. The operating temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, however, the temperature stability of the device exceeds the stated specifications, with temperature stability as low as +/-2 ppm from -40 to +85 °C.The DSC400-0101Q0115KE1 is designed to be a reliable, high-precision, low-cost and temperature-stable frequency control solution for embedded applications. It is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial, medical, military and aerospace applications. The device offers design flexibility and design reliability, making it the ideal solution for frequency sensitive applications.
