DSC6101HI1A-PROGRAMMABLE Application Field and Working PrincipleProgrammable Oscillators are small devices that are capable of generating a wide variety of frequency and pulse-width patterns. They are often referred to as Programmable Electronic Oscillators (PEO\'s) or Programmable Pulsers (PP\'s). These versatile devices can be used in a variety of applications, from clock generation to music production and from digital signal processing to timing.Programmable oscillators are highly integrated devices that allow multiple functions to be programmed and controlled using a simple onboard programming language. Generally, they consist of a clock source, a control logic unit, and a frequency and pulse-width programmable memory. The programmable memory is the key component of the device, and it can be programmed with a variety of programmed instructions and parameters. This memory can be programmed to store specific pulse-width patterns, frequency modulation signals, and other time synchronized ring oscillator (TSO) based signals.The onboard control logic unit is responsible for deciding when a certain programmed instruction is executed.
