DT100Z-14 application field and working principle

The DT100Z-14 AC/DC Desktop and Wall Adapters are a versatile family of desktop and fixed wall adapters designed for multi-stage product needs. This family offers a selection of DC output voltages, including 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, and 48V, providing output power ranging from 5W to 60W.

The internal components of the DT100Z-14 include a switching power supply, EMI filter, current limiting/short circuit protection, and temperature protection, etc. The switching power supply consists of an insulated full-wave bridge rectifier, filter capacitor, switching transistors, transformers, and control circuits. The output of the power supply is stabilized and filtered and it provides the output voltage with the rated load over the specified operating temperature range.

The EMI filter is set to reduce the interference of conducted energy to the AC power line. This improves the interference in other electronic products in order to comply with the safety regulations of the European Standard EN 55014.
