DC-DC converters are electrical devices which are used to convert a source of direct current (DC) energy into a different voltage or current level, typically between different levels of DC. The terms \'DC to DC converter\' and \'DC to AC converter\' are used interchangeably. The most common DC to DC converter is the DTE2048S24-D application, a water-cooled, fully digital dual-rail converter designed for high performance applications such as telecommunications, storage and automation.The DTE2048S24-D application works by using integrated gate drivers and a patented switching archi-tecture to provide seamless DC to DC conversion of a wide range of input voltages.
