DZ4J039K0R Application Field and Working Principle

The DZ4J039K0R is a 4-channel low-side MOSFET Array manufactured by Diodes Incorporated for power switch control in automotive and commercial applications. The device is designed to switch up to four DC loads using a single control line. The integrated circuit also protects the loads from over-voltage or current fault conditions.

The DZ4J039K0R low-side MOSFET Array uses a CMOS logic level pull-down circuit to drive its internal MOSFETs. This reduces the power consumption, improves the EMC performance due to the lower current waveform, and eliminates the need for a high-side switch. The MOSFETs are arranged in a parallel to form a low-side switch that can handle current of up to 39A and voltages up to 50V. It features low input threshold voltage of 0.8V, fast turn-on propagation delay of 50ns, high rDSon of 0.28Ω and low switching loss handling up to 30W.
