E3-10RTD-1

The E3-10RTD-1 is a Univeral/Programmable Temperature Controller from the range of PLC Modules. It is suitable for many applications including those in the network system, providing reliable control of temperature parameters. The E3-10RTD-1 can be used as a stand-alone temperature control unit or embedded into a larger system.

The E3-10RTD-1 universal/programmable temperature controller is a device designed to provide precision temperature control, and to ensure that the temperature remains within the specified range. The controller is equipped with various input/output capabilities, allowing for versatile use of the controller in various applications. The I/Os include thermocouples, RTDs, solid-state, analog and digital outputs, as well as programmable logic control (PLC) programming.

The E3-10RTD-1 features a two line LCD graphics display for easy viewing of parameters and status. The capacity for up to one million steps of programmable code adds added flexibility for customized temperature control. Both single and multi-point type temperature controllers can be selected in this device.

The working principle of the E3-10RTD-1 is simple. A temperature sensor, such as a thermocouple or RTD, is used to detect the temperature of the application area. The signal from the sensor is then sent to the controller, and a comparison algorithm is used to compare the detected temperature to the desired temperature set by the user. A voltage is then applied to the output device when the temperatures do not match, this voltage is regulated by the steady state error algorithm, and this regulates the output device. In most cases, the output device is an electric heater, but this can vary depending on the application.

The E3-10RTD-1 has a wide range of applications due to its ability to provide precision temperature control.
