E32-L86 2M is a high power 2.4GHz ISM band radio transceiver designed for long distance wireless data communication applications. The built-in high-performance chip and anti-interference circuit make it very suitable for high throughput applications in harsh environments. E32-L86 2M is designed to meet the needs of a variety of applications, including point-to-point or distributed networks for energy, industry, home automation, asset tracking, unattended meter reading and access control. The radio transceiver features a data rate of 1.2 Kbps to 2 Mbps, selectable channel bandwidths of 125 KHz, 250 KHz, 500 KHz or 1MHz, and integrated functions such as packet retransmission, localization processing, data coding/decoding, AES data encryption, etc. The operation of the E32-L86 2M is referred to as integrated spread spectrum (ISS) technology. It is based on multi-carrier modulation, which achieves higher data rate at longer distances when compared to traditional frequency hopping techniques. The ISS technology spreads a data packet across multiple carriers to reduce interference and improve performance.The E32-L86 2M’s integrated AES data encryption and decryption engine ensures a secure communication link between the devices. With the help of the embedded CAS (Contention Access Scheme) engine, it can support up to 12 nodes in a network with redundant data and adaptive FEC. The integrated Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) module makes it an ideal platform for implementing media access control (MAC) layer in 802.15.4 network scenarios. The radio is also equipped with OTA software update support, and an embedded QoS engine that can prioritize up/down data for better real-time performance. The multi-function RF signal indicator can provide the necessary feedback for synchronizing a network of multiple nodes. The E32-L86 2M is available in various versions, ranging from single antenna to dual-antenna implementations. The 8x2 mode can extend the communication range with the second antenna while using basic signal division techniques. The device has a built-in temperature sensor and over-temperature protection features, which make E32-L86 2M extremely robust for applications in tough and extreme environments. With its innovative design and performance features, the extremely low power consumption of the E32-L86 2M makes it the ultimate choice for high-bandwidth, low-cost wireless networking applications.
