Optical sensors are photoelectric devices used to detect and measure light rays in industrial processes. The E3ZM-CR61 2M is designed to detect objects and measure the Ambient light using a confirmational output with a 4-20 mA current output signal. The lens of the sensor is singularly focused to ensure that it accurately detects and measures the distance to the object in a variety of industrial applications.
The E3ZM-CR61 2M is a high-performance Photoelectric Sensor with a robust solid-state design that works in a range of industrial applications. Its IP67-rated durable construction makes it suitable for harsh working environments. It has a selectable sensing range up to 2 meters, and its output can be configured for either a light/dark or a dark/light operation with an adjustable reset time.
The E3ZM-CR61 2M uses threshold photoelectric sensing to quickly and reliably detect objects and measure ambient light in industrial applications. When the sensor is illuminated by a beam of light, it emits an electrical signal proportional to the amount of light received. This electrical signal is then sent to a 4-20 mA output circuit where it triggers a positive/negative output signal.
The E3ZM-CR61 2M also features a hysteresis feature that determines the sensitivity of the device. The hysteresis control allows the user to set the amount of variation in light intensity before the output signal changes. This feature can be used to filter out false signals while still detecting objects accurately.
The E3ZM-CR61 2M is designed for use in a wide variety of industrial applications, such as machine vision systems, material handling, assembly and robotic applications, food processing, and medical equipment. It is ideal for detecting objects in difficult-to-reach locations, such as in high ceilings and narrow spaces.
