The E52‐CA50C‐N D=8 Temperature Sensor is a thermocouple type and temperature probe used to detect temperature in many different applications. Thermocouples are temperature sensors which are composed of two different metal wires that are joined together at one end and measure a corresponding change in the electrical current when the probes come in contact with the surrounding environment. Temperature probes are typically more accurate than thermocouples, but they are relatively expensive compared with the cost of thermocouples. This particular sensor utilizes both a thermocouple and temperature probes to detect temperature.

The E52‐CA50C‐N D=8 Temperature Sensor is commonly used for applications such as scientific research, food and beverage, crop monitoring, environmental testing, and many industrial processes. The probe has a diameter of 8mm and can measure temperatures up to 1200 degrees Celsius.
