This thermocouple probe is suitable for temperatures ranging from minus 50 to + 400°C and features a standard Pt100 type element. It is compatible with most industrial thermocouple temperature controllers and it is highly reliable and durable in almost any environment.The probe has a fast response time of just 3 seconds, making it an ideal solution for monitoring temperatures in a wide variety of environments. It is also resettable and the setting can be easily changed as needed. Furthermore, the probe has an adjustable range, making it easily adaptable to any given situation.The thermocouple temperature sensing technology works on the principle of the Seebeck effect. This phenomenon is caused by a temperature difference between two points of a thermocouple, resulting in a voltage potential difference. This voltage potential difference is then used to provide an indication of temperature based on the Seebeck coefficient.The thermocouple is made from two dissimilar metals which join together at a reference junction; the output signal from this junction is the key to the E52-IC20C-6.4’s accuracy.
