EA2102SH evaluation boards (EBs) are broadly classified as DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. These evaluation boards are mainly used for testing power supply (SMPS) designs by running ‘realistic’ demos and simulations. As such, these EB based experiments can be used to understand the static and dynamic performance of different SMPS structures under various load conditions.EA2102SH evaluation boards are based on a flyback topology. The main components of the board include an input fuse, a main power switch, an energy recovery MOSFET, and a separate secondary control switch, along with DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) controllers, input and output capacitors, a bias supply, and an output voltage sensing circuit.
