RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards are essential components in testing, evaluation, and development of wireless system. EC19D01SD, developed by EC Solutions, is a 10 Gbps software defined radio transceiver kit which enables industry professionals to build a versatile, customizable and powerful multi-protocol radio transceiver in a compact, development environment.

The EC19D01SD transceiver kit features a C-language software development environment and a low-power radio transceiver development board that supports multiple protocols. The kit includes a 4G/5G cellular RF transceiver baseband unit and an IP-based radio access network, as well as high-speed DDR4 SDRAM compatible 256M memory controller, FPGA/CPLD configuration control, GPS receiver, and embedded OS.

The EC19D01SD radio transceiver supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 10, Linux, and Android. It also provides an onboard Digital Radio development kit, which provides a comprehensive suite of application software to help developers utilize the available hardware resources. The kit also includes the Video and Audio streaming software, which can be used for various video and audio data streaming applications.

The EC19D01SD transceiver kit is designed for applications in the 2-50GHz range, and it supports multiple protocols, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, WiMAX, WCDMA, DMR, and TD-SCDMA. The AN nodes are responsible for data forwarding to and from the connected nodes.

The EC19D01SD transceiver kit then utilizes a central processor which runs the IP network protocol stack and data link layer software to make the process of establishing a data connection with the connected device as easy as possible. The protocol stack and link layer software take advantage of the RF/HW and PHY layer of the EC19D01SD transceiver to establish secure data links and to facilitate quick and reliable data transmission.

In addition, the EC19D01SD transceiver also offers support for a set of third-party application development tools, such as embedded operating systems, development and debugging tools, and frameworks to facilitate rapid prototyping and development. This allows the engineer to develop custom applications that are tailored to specifics requirements of the real-world application.
