Common mode chokes are used in a wide range of applications to reduce or reject electromagnetic interference, in order to prevent interference from reaching sensitive electronic circuits. Furthermore, the winding resistance of the two coils is in the range of 0.1-1Ω, which is quite low and helps to reduce the signal crosstalk effect.
